With a dedication to affordable luxury, the award-winning Dutch citizenM hotel brand expanded its portfolio to include the new citizenM Copenhagen Radhuspladsen. Centrally located at H.C. Andersens Boulevard 12, an address meant to appeal to both leisure and business guests, the hotel is a short walk from Tivoli Gardens, The National Museum of Denmark and City Hall Square (Radhuspladsen). A new metro line stopping at Radhuspladsen Station will become operational in July, with a link to Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (CPH). Until then, Central Station is an eight-minute walking journey from the hotel.

Extra-large, king-sized beds, luxury linens, Grohe power showers and in-room iPads (called MoodPads) are standard features in all 238 guestrooms. Automated conveniences include temperature control, colored lighting, window blinds and a complimentary film library. Shared guest spaces, including the brand’s popular living room on the top floor, feature contemporary furnishings by Danish designer Verner Panton and British designer Jasper Morrison, along with a mix of commissioned and collected art. An outdoor terrace includes a sky bar with a menu of craft cocktails. Other spaces include collectionM gift shop, and canteenM snack shop (open daily, 24 hours). Be sure to look around: You don’t want to miss the art, which includes an entrance mural by artist Troels Aagaard, plus, ceiling murals and wall art in guestrooms and the sky bar by artists Ditte Ejlerskov and HuskMitNavn.

Immerse in an Invigorating Thermal Journey at Scandinave Spa Whistler

The glittering green pines and burst of jasmine lake beyond almost made me forget about the aches in my legs that slowly developed after the promised hour-long hike ran into the third hour. And, oh, there were my hips, showing up to remind me I was no longer in my 20s. I didn’t mind, though, because the vision that surrounded me during our guided walk through Garibaldi Park to Cheakamus Lake in Whistler, British Columbia, with Mountain Skills Academy and Adventures proved worthy of a thousand postcards.

Remarkable Medellín

Visiting Medellín in Colombia: The Country of Beauty is like stepping into a fantastic story — literally, as the city in the Western Colombian Andes region inspired Disney’s Encanto. Here, valleys, the world’s tallest palms, vibrant communities, colorful houses, garden-like balconies and more prove reality is more picturesque than anything on film. And it’s especially more tempting following Medellín’s remarkable transformation, shedding its troubled past and reawakening as a city of innovation, art, cultural richness, modern infrastructure, thriving tourism and resiliency.

A Fusion of History and Modernity Makes Bangkok a Perfect Meeting Spot

In this city of contrasts, glass skyscrapers stand behind century- old temples. Street food vendors sling steaming noodles along roadways while tucked-away restaurants serve multicourse, Michelin-level cuisine. Roadways jam with cars as jewel-toned tuk tuks whizz through the gridlock. Long considered a tourist mecca, Bangkok also makes for a dynamic, budding location for corporate travelers.

Explore the Beguiling Towns of Sicily’s Val di Noto

Best known to tourists for the boisterous chaos of Palermo, the views of Mount Etna from idyllic Taormina, and for that capricious volcano itself, Sicily has far more to draw travelers. In Sicily’s southeast corner, one region encapsulates the Sicilian spirit that has seen it through conquest and natural disasters, a region less well-known to tourists but one of the island’s most beautiful and fascinating.
