Ascend Hotel Collection by Choice Hotels International welcomed its first property in Connecticut: The Capitol Hotel in downtown Hartford. The recently renovated property hosts business and leisure travelers with views of the Connecticut State Capitol building and a convenient location near downtown Hartford’s best attractions and many of the large corporate headquarters that attract business travelers.

Other amenities at the property include a new fitness center, meeting and event spaces, complimentary breakfast for guests and on-site parking.
