On Nov. 29, China Airlines accepted the delivery of its first Airbus A321neo passenger aircraft. With 180 seats, including 12 in Premium Business Class and 168 in economy class, the aircraft includes enhanced contactless service and increased epidemic prevention measures.
The new aircraft comes with fully flat Premium Business Class seats, previously only found on widebody passenger aircraft. Seats will be wider and will have adjustable extra-height partitions for privacy and reduced contact between passengers. The A321neo includes a high-efficiency cargo hold system with increased capacity and improved energy and fuel efficiency. The A321neo’s fuel efficiency is estimated to be 15–20 percent better than that of the previous generation of narrow-body aircraft.

With the latest in-flight entertainment systems, free text messaging and high-speed Wi-Fi connection, only the latest updates will appear on the A321neo. The new aircraft is also the first in the domestic airline industry to have a smart link option for guests to connect to the in-flight entertainment system through their personal mobile phone and Bluetooth headphones.
