Avianca Airlines’ loyalty program and Cardless officially partnered up to launch two new U.S. credit cards. LifeMiles members can enjoy more benefits than ever thanks to the new collaboration. The two new credit cards use the airline’s loyalty programs that will be available as the Avianca LifeMiles American Express Card and Avianca LifeMiles American Express Elite Card.

Launching on the American Express network, these new cards enable Avianca LifeMiles members in the United States to collect LifeMiles, Avianca’s rewards currency. LifeMiles can be earned on everyday purchases, which members can fast-track to Silver Status with LifeMiles.
With an annual fee of $249, the Avianca LifeMiles American Express Elite Card gives cardholders a bonus of up to 100,000 LifeMiles upon approval. Cardholders can earn 60,000 miles after $4,500 spent in the first 90 days, and an additional 40,000 miles after $25,000 spent in the first 365 days. For every $1 spent with this credit card, cardholders earn three LifeMiles on Avianca or LifeMiles purchases, two LifeMiles on restaurant and non-Avianca travel spend, and one LifeMile on groceries and all other spend. Other benefits are included with this card.

The Avianca LifeMiles American Express Credit Card has a $99 annual fee. Cardholders can enjoy a bonus of up to 40,000 LifeMiles upon being approved after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days. For every $1 spent with this card, cardholders earn two miles on Avianca or LifeMiles spend, two LifeMiles on restaurants and groceries spend, and one LifeMile on all other spent.
Cardholders for either card variant will also enjoy a fast-track to a year of Silver status with LifeMiles upon being approved for the credit card and will retain Silver status annually while they have the card.
