Two weeks ago, my cousin and I took a quick trip to Atlanta and stayed at Hotel Colee in Buckhead, a new Marriott Autograph Hotel. We checked into the hotel around 8 p.m., and everyone was nice; check-in was a breeze.
When we got to the room, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! I was in one of the Grand Suites with a king-sized bed, a living area, a full bath and a half bath. The room was spacious and made me feel like I was at home. There were complimentary water bottles for our enjoyment and a coffee station with options for espresso, regular coffee and much more.
Due to COVID-19, maid service was suspended, but the bathroom was fully stocked with plenty of toiletries like toilet paper, shampoo, soap and towels — we didn’t run out of anything! The shower was one of the best parts of the room. The pressure was perfect. It had a showerhead with four pressure faucets on the wall to hit every part of your body. The shampoo, conditioner and soap smelled amazing, too! The restaurant was closed because of the pandemic, but we were still able to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the comfort of our room. We just had to call down to the front desk to place our order, and it was delivered to the room in no time! The lobby bar and the rooftop bar were both open for guests to enjoy — we didn’t get to the rooftop bar due to a private event on Friday and stormy weather on Saturday.
Overall, I had a delightful experience at Hotel Colee. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to people visiting Buckhead or the surrounding areas.
