Happy Valentine’s Day, readers!
Yesterday’s eFlyer USA’s lead story looked at a study of the most popular Valentine’s Day destinations. New York City ranked No. 1 domestically, and Cancún took the top spot internationally.

I don’t normally consider Valentine’s Day as a travel holiday; however, this article made me think about places I have been and would like to travel to with my husband. Our most romantic trip would be our honeymoon, which started in New Orleans before Tahiti and Bora-Bora. With its party atmosphere, New Orleans is also a romantic city. And you can’t really beat French Polynesia for luxurious romance. Of the other destinations on the most-popular list, Seattle and Vancouver are also places we’d like to visit.
Maybe this time next year, my blog will be about my own Valentine’s Day trip!
