September is upon us, and I cannot believe how fast the time went. It feels like just yesterday I was walking around Philadelphia with hot chocolate in my snow suit snapping photos of the pretty houses in Society Hill.

As summer ends, I am ready for autumn’s large cozy blankets, hot cups of cider and pumpkin spice lattes, candles, spooky movies and crisp air where my hair doesn’t fluff up from humidity. With this in mind, I know I need to plan a getaway to see the changing leaves and beauty of fall.

My ideal trip would be to New England, preferably to Vermont or Maine, for hiking and being fully immersed in nature, perhaps a glamping trip in a warm cottage or a bed and breakfast in a quaint town. The smell of crunching leaves, glowing pumpkins and cinnamon is what I live for.

As of now, no plans are made aside from being a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding the first week of October. With open availability, my fall is open for activities.

For those who love the summer and are sad to see it go, live it up while it’s still here. With a blink of an eye, Halloween will be upon us!
