This past weekend we got probably our first real taste of fall weather this year. The temperature dropped into the low 50s at night and didn’t get too warm during the day. Add in changing leaves and overcast skies, and we had a perfect fall weekend in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
To make the most of the autumnal weekend, my girlfriend and I went camping. On Friday evening we packed the car and took off toward Galloway Township. The campsite is located near Atlantic City, but we didn’t make it there this trip.
On Saturday we went to my girlfriend’s alma mater, Stockton University, for one of its annual festivals. There were tons of vendors and food trucks, including a beer tasting, a cool addition. Afterward we met up with her friends from school for dinner. Then we went back and watched The Shining.
On Sunday, we grabbed a lunch and did some early Christmas shopping. Once home, we decided to catch a screening of the new The Addams Family. It was a cute way to keep the spooky fall vibes alive for the work week.
