Concerts are back in full swing, and my first concert of the season is going to be at beautiful Hollywood Bowl.
For those who have not been to the historic venue in Los Angeles, it is worth a trip, believe me. This is a venue dating back to 1922 where the first season kicked off with conductor Alfred Hertz and the LA Philharmonic. Today, the LA Phil is led by the talented Gustavo Dudamel.
This coming weekend I’m seeing one of the most famous Mexican rock bands, Café Tacuba. They’re like the Blink-182 of Mexico.
In a couple of weeks, I’ll also head down to San Diego to get serenaded by Leon Bridges. He’s performing at Waterfront Park as part of Bleached music festival. This will be a new venue, so I’m excited.
Another one I’m really looking forward to is possibly one of my all-time favorite bands, Phoenix. The French Indie band just gets me. They’re going to be on the West Coast in August, so I cannot wait to see them locally. I’ve seen them all over Los Angeles.
What concerts are you looking forward to this summer?
