In a recent adventure out to West Hollywood, my friends and I decided to pay a visit to OG headquarters of the juicy Selling Sunset show (Netflix), due to its new season. Sunset Boulevard is a great little playground even for native Angelenos like myself.

For lunch we decided to pay a visit to a recent addition to the strip, Saltie Girl. This is a seafood lover’s paradise. We love dining family-style, so we chose three different dishes we shared and one item we just had to eat individually. A little bit about Saltie Girl before I divulge the culinary delight we enjoyed: It is originally from Boston, and the presentation is a blend between classy fish market and bar. As you walk in, your nose is inundated with brine and citrus. I really couldn’t wait to eat.

I didn’t do any research before coming here, so I had no idea about their top items or anything. We tried

Lobster roll – My weakness. You will not regret getting this. You have your choice of cold or warm. Traditionalists will be satisfied, regardless.

Beef Tartare (Hand-chopped, dry-aged prime steak tartare): I love raw beef. It was so lemony and light.

Tuna Tartare: A citrusy bite with pickled mushrooms and avocado

The third dish we got was broiled baby carrots, but they’re no longer on the menu, so I won’t tempt you. The veggie selection is delicious, regardless.
