Sixty-degree weather mid-November? Meet me at the park, please! I must confess I have been – safely — taking advantage of all the nice weather we’ve gotten this season thus far.
After months of saying how much we wanted to go, this past Sunday my boyfriend and I grabbed some hammers and wrenches and drove northwest to Ringing Rocks County Park to enjoy the calm before the storm. The drive was easy and about 1.5 hours from our place.
We saw some pretty cool rocks and played some music — I like to think I created a beat, but my boyfriend would tell you otherwise — and walked around until it started drizzling.
Honestly, the best part of the trip was the extra driving practice it provided, with a gorgeous backdrop to boot! It might be a little later in life to learn to drive, but better late than never! River Road and Route 413 contained some picturesque views and winding, narrow roads perfect for testing my skills!
