It’s that time of year again — when my colleagues and I head to Los Angeles for the annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards. Announced in the December issue of Global Traveler, the 2018 awards will be presented to the winners along with some great international cuisine, entertainment and views from the rooftop of the hotel.
Before the event we got to enjoy some free time between meetings and explore the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood. One aspect of the Peninsula I love is the seasonal décor. I realize I have never visited the hotel during any other time of year, but there is something special about the festive holiday decorations that I really enjoy. The classic trees and traditional garlands complement the hotel’s luxury style, from the tea room to the bar.
