I just returned from a bachelorette party in Park City, Utah, celebrating my husband’s cousin. The group was a mix of the bride’s family and friends, and we all had a fabulous time!
We stayed at Montage Deer Valley. The property is popular with serious skiers, due in part to its ski-in/ski-out access and the pristine slopes. While I am admittedly not a winter sports person, I was excited to experience the outdoor activities on our itinerary, especially since this was my first visit to Utah. On the first full day of our stay we visited Woodward Park City, a year-round action sports park. A variety of activities are available, and we opted for snow tubing. This was my first time tubing, and I had an absolute blast! We visited early in the day, when the snow was perfect, and flew down the hill twice with the entire group. Our last run was just a couple of us, and by that time the snow had melted a bit, which slowed us down considerably.
Once back in our rooms, we got ready for afternoon drinks at The Vintage Room. Located at The St. Regis Deer Valley, the heated outdoor bar and lounge features drinks and light bites. We ate, drank and danced until our allotted time ran out.
The last full day of the trip started with breakfast at Montage’s Apex restaurant. We fueled up at the buffet ahead of our afternoon snowmobiling excursion with Red Pine Adventures. Snowmobiling was also a first for me, and I really enjoyed it. We were paired up on the snowmobiles. I rode up the trail, and my partner rode down. We went up to a large open area of land where guests were encouraged to drive around in the open. The scenery was breathtaking, and we had an up-close view as we rode along the serene trails. We ended the night with a sleigh ride and cozy dinner with Snowed Inn Sleigh Company.
The bachelorette party was one for the books!
