North Italia, King of Prussia

Drum roll, please …

Italian food Italian foodI finally got my driver’s license — woo hoo! And what better way to celebrate than by driving myself to dinner?

I used Driven 2 Drive services for my lessons and test, and the latter took place at their Oaks location in King of Prussia; so I took advantage of my proximity to the mall and headed that way to do some shopping. My boyfriend and I spotted North Italia as we were walking toward our car and we decided to give it a try.
Italian food

The restaurant’s atmosphere and décor were contemporary and hip, the music selection felt like my Spotify library and the staff was hands-on and attentive. To start, we shared the arancini, deep-fried mushroom risotto in a rustic tomato sauce topped with Fontina and Parmesan cheeses. This wasn’t my first time trying arancini, but, I must say, it certainly was one of my top five simply because, while the outside was super crispy, the creaminess and softness of the risotto were delightful. The restaurant’s atmosphere and décor were very contemporary and hip, the music selection pretty much felt like my Spotify library, and the staff was very hands-on  and attentive. We didn’t have room for dessert so that means we need to go back for it.

As if I need another excuse to visit the mall …
