Last week I moved out of my parents’ house and into an apartment in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, with my friend Danielle. After months of looking, we finally found a place equipped with most of the things we were looking for: a washer and dryer, a little backyard and enough space so we can have friends over without being too cramped.

Our new apartment is in a great location, only two blocks from Fayette Street, which has a ton of good bars and restaurants. We even have a delicious restaurant at the end of our street.

Even though our move-in day was last week, we are both still slowly moving. As we both left our parents’ houses, there was no rush to get out. Since we both work during the day, we haven’t had much time to fully organize and decorate our space, but I can’t wait to fully feel settled.

I still need to get a dresser and some other things for my bedroom, so right now my clothes are either in the bags I packed them in or on the floor. I am planning to soon pick out a dresser that will fit my needs.

I am excited for this new life adventure and look forward to exploring Conshohocken with friends.
