After a rough winter, the weather in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where I live, has been beautiful lately. Temperatures have gone up, the sun is shining, and the wind finally died down. I know we aren’t out of winter yet, but this weather has me looking forward to the warmer days of spring and summer and all the fun things coming up.
First, I can’t wait for the day we take off our pool cover — the backyard just looks so much better with the pool open. My cousin John has a pool company, so he typically takes it off earlier in the spring so it’s cleaned and ready to go by the time we want to swim. 
May will be an exciting month. My best friend is pregnant and due in the middle of May, so I am excited to welcome a new little bestie into the world. Later in the month I am headed to Miami with the FXExpress Publications, Inc. team for the Leisure Lifestyle Awards. It will be my first time in Miami, so I am excited to explore a new city. Fingers crossed we have beautiful Florida weather and sunshine! If you will be in the Miami area on Thursday, May 23, join us at InterContinental Miami for a night of food, drinks and fun as we celebrate the best of the best in leisure travel; RSVP here. Lastly, I will round out May at the Post Malone and Jellyroll concert at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
June brings travel to Madeira and long days soaking up the sun by the pool. July has fun trips to the Pocono Mountains with friends and a week with the family down the shore. And, in August, I will head to the Finger Lakes for a friend’s bachelorette party.
