In a couple of weeks some of the FXExpress Publications, Inc. team are headed to Washington, D.C., for the Wherever Awards at the Kimpton Monaco Washington DC. This is the second time we will be hosting an event in the Paris Ballroom at the hotel. Our last event was a combination of the Wherever Awards, Trazee Awards and Leisure Lifestyle Awards back in the summer of 2021.
Our 2021 event was beautiful, but I am looking forward to this one since we are solely focusing on the best of the best in the multigenerational travel industry. Since the event is being held in the Paris Ballroom, the theme is Wherever in Paris. The glamorous night will feature live music, great food and a celebration of the best in family destinations, cruise lines, resorts and more.
With the Paris theme, there will be subtle notes of French-themed decorations. For example, there will be a lady walking around in a Champagne dress where guests are welcome to grab a refreshing glass of Champagne. Don’t worry, if Champagne isn’t your thing, there will be a bar with wine, beer and other drink options. There will also be a French band, Les Zazous, playing beautiful music throughout the night. Guests will enjoy French-related foods such as charcuterie and sample a cheese table, French hors d’oeuvres, pasta and pastries.
All are welcome to attend the event and help celebrate the winners. The Wherever Awards will be held on April 13 at 7 p.m. at the Kimpton Monaco Washington DC. Please RSVP ahead of time. Travel lovers interested in attending the event can RSVP here. We hope to see you there!
