It’s hard to believe it’s already December! With the year winding down, I’m looking forward to the holiday season, which includes some of my favorite travel.
Up first, the GT team heads to Los Angeles for the 16th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards, held at The Peninsula Beverly Hills. The event honors the best in the world of business and luxury travel. This marks my ninth year attending, and I look forward to it every year! I’ve only ever visited The Peninsula in December, and the property is always decked out in gorgeous holiday decorations. I truly don’t feel in the holiday spirit until I spend time at The Peninsula. To cap off the year, my husband and I will visit one of our favorite cities, New Orleans. We’ve been many times together but always find new things to explore. This year we will be there on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so we plan to attend Mass, go on a tour of the holiday house decorations and take part in a Réveillon meal at one of the city’s popular restaurants.
