October marks a start to the holiday season for many within the United States. The fourth quarter is a busy time for businesses and also a busy time for giving back to the communities and people we serve.

This autumn month marks another milestone for a large organization in the Atlanta metro community, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and its fifth annual Taste of Hartsfield-Jackson.
This event is a one-day fundraising endeavor in which all proceeds benefit Atlanta Community Food Bank, which serves individuals and families in need within the Atlanta area. For more information on the charity, here is a link to its website. The event will be held in the Domestic Terminal Atrium Tuesday, Oct. 29 11 a.m.–4 p.m. EST. The event will have various culinary treasures to taste from 30-plus eateries, with special celebrity chefs and stars in attendance as well as live music to enjoy.

Tickets are available for purchase here. The spirit of giving and the holiday season are approaching us. I encourage you all to give thanks for your blessings and donate to this charitable cause if you are able. If you are not traveling through the airport on this day, don’t worry; you can still donate to the cause or directly to the food bank if you so choose.
