Earlier this month I went on my first destination bachelorette party to the Bahamas. My husband’s cousin is getting married in a few months, and the whole family made our way there to celebrate her upcoming wedding.

We stayed at The Cove in the Atlantis Resort. I briefly visited the resort during a cruise stop years ago, so I felt as though I was experiencing the property for the first time. Atlantis is huge. Even after strolling the grounds throughout our stay, I still didn’t see everything.

We had a beachside cabana each day. The cabana felt more like a private mini beach house, complete with a large couch, mini-refrigerator, patio, bathroom, outdoor shower and numerous lounge chairs. We also had a dedicated server, which made ordering food and drinks seamless.

With so much to see and do, it was impossible to experience everything. Some must-see’s include the rapid river ride, fine dining like Nobu and the Bahamian Grill, the on-site casino, the beach and shopping. This is all made even better, of course, with great company!
