Over the weekend my brother, his girlfriend and I decided to go out to eat. They were tired of ordering in, and I had a great idea to visit Golden China, a Chinese restaurant just a hop, skip and a jump away from Global Traveler’s world headquarters.

I have been a few times with the team and usually enjoyed myself, so I figured it was a perfect opportunity to introduce my brother and his better half to some good food and company.

The restaurant interior is nice, with waterfall glass coating the room and plenty of seating. The sushi bar can be seen from practically anywhere in the dining room, so if you like watching your sushi rolled, this is the place for you.

We sat down and were immediately helped; they gave fried wontons, which looked like they were just taken out of the fryer, and duck sauce.

I ordered sesame chicken, which was great, but it seemed like there was enough sauce on it for five portions, and my brother got a beef dish, which turned out to be delicious.

Overall, it was a nice experience, and the dining room was nice and quiet, so we were able to have good conversation. We had a great time at Golden China, and it is an experience we will be having again soon.
