The first LA Auto Show kicked off in 1907 and featured 99 cars. Fast-forward to 2022, and there were over 30 car makers displaying the latest EV options for the coming year.
I always love my time at the LA Auto Show. It’s been a good 8-plus years since my last attendance. This year, of course, there’s so much buzz about more electric vehicle options, and, personally, I was not disappointed. We enjoyed feeling out the ID.Buzz microbus EV. What a great revival of a true classic! Subaru had a jaw-dropping showcase which transported visitors to the outdoors. They introduced the Solterra EV. Toyota introduced its new Prius; I’m not a huge fan of the design of this one, but the redesign makes me reconsider that as a real option. It’s looking more like a car. The highlight of the show for me was the Genesis GV 70.
There were a lot of great driving experiences, indoors and outdoors. Dodge, Ford and Jeep had some great performance indoor driving courses. Just about every car maker there had outdoor driving experiences. I’ve attended a few other car shows this year so didn’t feel the need to partake.
This was the first time I saw the showcases by Galpin Ford. Man, do they make some show-stopping designs. Galpin Ford is the top Ford seller in Los Angeles. Enjoy some of their cars here.
Thanks for stopping by!
By the way, I’m getting an electric scooter. What do you think?
