The restaurant décor is cheeky chic with a patterned floor, wild bar top and a Vegas take on Los Angeles’ Koreatown that’s both engaging and entertaining. The Korean BBQ concept menu at Best Friend includes a host of favorites, from the ubiquitous Fried Bologna Sandwich with melted Swiss cheese, to Soon DuBu Hot Pot, a spicy vegan stew made with umami and a mix of soft and firm tofu served up in a clay pot.

Other menu items include Slippery Shrimp, Choi’s adaptation of honey walnut shrimp prepared with a creamy, spicy sauce made from cilantro, walnuts and sesame seeds; Fritto Misto Rogers tempura medley with a selection of fried vegetables served with ponzu dipping sauce; BBQ Spicy Pork prepared with thinly sliced pork belly and shoulder first marinated in kochujang sauce and then charred with onions; and Tamarind Cod Hot Pot, drawn from Vietnamese and Korean recipes that feature tamarind spiced broth, cod and Korean vermicelli noodles.
