BermudAir announced an expanded fare structure, allowing customers to choose from five fare types across economy and business class, up from the previous three options. Travelers can now select fares based on their preferences for lounge access, checked baggage, change fees, refunds and priority boarding.
The airline added Economy Max to its Economy Light and Economy Classic options, as well as introducing Business Light alongside its Business option.
Economy Light provides one carry-on and one personal item, with a checked bag fee of $60. Economy Light tickets are non-refundable and have a $100 change fee, plus fare difference.
Economy Classic allows one carry-on and one personal item, as well as one free, 70-pound checked bag. Upgrades are available for a fee on the day of departure, and changes are free up to seven days before travel, then $100 plus fare difference. Refunds are in the form of future travel credit.
Economy Max allows one personal item, one carry-on, one 70-pound checked bag, priority boarding, lounge access where available, free changes any time, credit card refunds, and upgrades for a fee.
Business Light provides one personal item, one carry-on, one 70-pound checked bag, lounge access where available, priority boarding, $100 change fee plus fare difference and refund in the form of future travel credit.
Business includes one personal item, one carry-on, two free 70-pound checked bags, lounge access where available, priority boarding, free changes and credit card refunds.
“Our new fare categories address the diverse needs and priorities of travelers,” said Leslie Peden, SVP of Sales and Distribution, BermudAir. “Economy Light offers our lowest lead in fares, while Economy Max, Business Light, and Business include benefits and experiences like no change fees, priority boarding, and lounge access. We aim to support our customers and travel advisors with a structure that maximizes choice and flexibility.”
BermudAir connects Bermuda (BDA) with destinations like Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO), Baltimore (BWI), Toronto (YYZ) and Halifax (YHZ).
