Avianca expands its ever-growing network of North American destinations with the launch of a new route connecting Bogotá (BOG) and Chicago (ORD). The route debuts Oct. 27.
The airline operated this route between 2018 and 2019 and, after a five-year hiatus, the route will resume with seven weekly flights. The reinstated route will be flown with a Airbus A320 aircraft, offering more than 2,500 seats per week.
Flights leave Bogotá at 7 a.m. and arrive in Chicago at 1:15 p.m. Flights depart Chicago at 2:35 p.m. and arrive in Bogotá at 8:25 p.m.
The return of this route strengthens connectivity across the Americas. Chicago marks the 13th city avianca will fly to in North America, joining a network of destinations connecting travelers to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Houston (IAH), New York (JFK), Orlando (MCO), San Francisco (SFO) and Dallas (DFW).
