Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel invites sober and sober-curious travelers to experience a brand-new, non-alcoholic beverage menu at its rooftop bar, SIN.
Sober Sips, the alcohol-free cocktail menu, meticulously recreates the rooftop bar’s signature cocktails in non-alcoholic versions. Head mixologist Brian Gonzalez Fernandez designed the menu, while still keeping in mind the indulgent sin and desire vibe.
“What started as the Dry January movement has fueled a drastic lifestyle change across all age groups, including millennials and Gen-Z. More and more people are choosing not to drink alcohol but still want to be part of the social experience,” said Brian Gonzalez Fernandez, head mixologist, Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel. “With Sober Sips, I wanted to be able to give all our guests that exhilarating feeling of being part of something bigger than themselves, of connection and celebration.”
The menu uses healthy ingredients and high-quality sober spirits in its mocktails. SIN also serves dealcoholized wines including French Bloom’s sparkling Le Blanc. Expect to see drinks like Forbidden Nectar, made with sober whiskey, miso, caramel yogurt and carrot; and The Temptress, made with sober gin, sober amaretto, raspberry, lemon, matcha and foam.
SIN is open Wednesday–Sunday, 5 p.m.–1 a.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa is an award-winning resort on Coconut Road in Bonita Springs, Florida, on the Gulf Coast between Naples and Fort Myers. The property, with 26 acres of tropical landscaping, multiple water slides and numerous dining venues, is a beautiful resort. Last month, I brought my 13-year-old grandson to the property for two days of water-sliding in balmy mid-December weather.
