Within the walls of a beautifully restored 1920’s-era villa not far from the historic city of Dubrovnik, Croatia, Hotel Supetar Cavtat introduced the SupetART artist-in-residence program. Each month, the hotel will metamorphose into an art space and interactive pop-up gallery featuring different works by both local and national artists. Guests have a unique opportunity to immerse in Croatian culture and narrative, and to interact with artistic creators.

The immersive art experience launched with works by Iva Laterza Obuljen, featuring three collections: “Trajectories,” “Lines” and “Remains of the Day.” The exhibit is offered in partnership with SHPIGL, a prominent Croatian art consultancy agency. As a new exhibition is revealed each month, the hotel stages an opening reception and casual dialogue with the featured artist.

The 16-room boutique property is part of the Adriatic Luxury Hotels portfolio and ranks high in service, beauty and views: Its position between the Adriatic Sea and winding stone streets of the historic village of Cavtat makes it a great base for walking, seaside rejuvenation and exploration of southern Croatia. Dine onsite with a terrace table and gaze out over the waters of Cavtat Bay while enjoying authentic Croatian Mediterranean cuisine prepared by Chef Renato Mrakić. Delicious choices include wild hare penne, and cottage cheese and honey cake. The Wine Bar offers a curated menu of wine flights or the perfect glass to accompany your meal.
