SB Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites, the bespoke estate created by Argentinean female winemaker Susana Balbo, invites guests to experience Mendoza in a new light with its Cowboy Core Getaway. The new experience combines adventure, authenticity and a connection to the land.

The trip includes a four-night stay in the hotel’s spa suites, which feature a steam shower and sauna. After arrival, guests are treated to a mini massage and aromatherapy bath with local materials in the suite’s ceramic tub. Guests also enjoy a seven-course dinner and wine pairings at La VidA Restaurant. Menu highlights include dishes with roots, stems, flowers, birds, branches and fruits.

Day two kicks off with a private horseback ride in Uco Valley on Criollo horses. Throughout the ride, guests hear legends and learn more about rural life in the region from the owner of Entreandes. The experience ends with a traditional Argentine asado, a feast of grilled meats celebrating local flavors in an unparalleled setting. Guests then stop by KDS Fine Cutlery to get an inside look at the artistry of local bladesmiths and other top artisans.

Once back at the hotel, guests can relax with a Yerba Mate treatment, which uses Yerba Mate in several steps of body exfoliation, masque and massage. Yerba Mate is a South American brewed hot beverage similar to tea, known for its antioxidant-rich and energizing properties.

On day three of the Cowboy Core Getaway, guests visit a local leather shop in Mendoza City to shop for handcrafted goods. Browse a curated selection of mates, ponchos and leather options, and take home a piece of Mendocino culture for a unique souvenir from the trip. In the afternoon, guests embark on a mountain horseback ride that offers stunning views of the Andes from the Valley of Las Vegas and Poterillos Dam.

Guests won’t leave the property without an exclusive Susana Balbo Winery tour, complete with a private tasting and vineyard picnic.
