The popular, rewards-heavy Chase Sapphire Reserve card comes with heaps of perks, from lounge access to an annual $300 travel credit, but the card also comes with a hefty annual fee of $450. This fee can easily be rationalized away with the catalog of benefits, but. as of Jan. 12, the fee increased even higher to $550. Now, the card is one of the most expensive rewards credit cards on the market.
But those who don’t mind paying an extra $100 per year will continue to enjoy the benefits such as trip protection, business-class upgrades, concierge services and airport lounge access via a free membership with Priority Pass Select. Other benefits include a statement credit of $100 toward Global Entry or TSA PreCheck membership.
The increased annual fee also comes with a few new bonuses: Cardholders enjoy premium access to the DoorDash delivery service, which means no delivery fees for orders more than $12, as well as a one-year membership to Lyft Pink, which comes with a 15 percent discount on all rides, three 30-minute scooter or bike rentals per month, priority airport pickups and a flexible cancellation policy, among other benefits.
