Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas expands in Thailand with Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort, slated to debut in December 2022. The property is located on the island of Koh Yao Yai in Phang Nga Bay, between Phuket and Krabi.
The resort will feature 148 accommodations, including one- and two-bedroom beachfront villas, ocean-view suites and eight two-floor penthouses. Each penthouse boasts a glass-bottom swimming pool and outdoor entertainment area. For those traveling with children, the grand sea-view family suites offer bunk beds and an in-suite playground complete a slide.
Take advantage of numerous activities available for guests including island-hopping excursions, snorkeling, birdwatching and tuk-tuk tours. The resort will also feature a family pool, indoor-outdoor kids’ club, meeting spaces, fitness center, hydro pool and hammam.
The luxury property offers guests a variety of dining options. Choose from an ocean-facing restaurant specializing in Thai and Asian dishes, an all-day lobby restaurant and bar and a pool bar. Kid-friendly dishes are available for those traveling with children. Menus change to reflect the best seasonal offerings. An on-site organic farm provides fresh produce for the dining outlets.
Phuket International Airport is the closest hub. Arriving guests may reach Anantara Koh Yao Yai by a combination of speedboat and car.
