American Airlines opened the newest of its rebranded flagship lounges — a 14,500-square-foot lounge at Los Angeles International Airport.
The lounge is open for first-class passengers traveling on international or non-stop transcontinental flights to New York (JFK). The lounge has showers, quiet rooms, a hot and cold buffet and a “chef action station” for freshly made dishes.
Anyone in first class can also visit the Flagship First Dining area with full tableside service, dishes like the Flagship Burger and cocktails made by New York mixologist Pamela Wiznitzer.
American rolled out the first of its flagship lounges at JFK airport in May last year and has since added locations in Miami (MIA) and Chicago O’Hare (ORD).
American is the largest airline at LAX, with more than 200 daily flights to 70 destinations.
