The Alfond Inn at Rollins, historic Winter Park’s award-winning boutique hotel, recently announced expansion plans.
The hotel’s new development will kick off construction this summer and aims to be completed in the first quarter of 2021. The new development will add 73 guestrooms to the property, bringing the total to 185 rooms. The new rooms will include standard guest accommodations and large suites.
“This is an exciting time for The Alfond Inn and for Winter Park as we embark on the next phase of the hotel’s evolution,” says Jesse Martinez, general manager, The Alfond Inn at Rollins.
The expansion will also add a state-of-the-art wellness center and spa and a second swimming pool in an elevated outdoor area with cabanas. The 2,000 square feet of meeting space accompanies the additions, making the hotel a great place to do business.
Since opening in 2013, the hotel made philanthropy a priority while winning many awards.
