Air Tahiti Nui celebrates the completion of a two-year, $17 million investment in the renewal of its cabins, moving from a three-cabin to a two-cabin configuration with refreshed business and economy cabins. The updated planes began service in April, servicing the carrier’s Los Angeles and Paris routes.

The cabin interiors reflect the colors and character of the Tahitian Islands, featuring turquoise and ocean blue, mother of pearl, white and warm grays. The new larger Poerava business class has 32 Evolys seats. The shell-seat concept offers passengers more individual privacy with an angled lie-flat seat with a 160-degree recline. Power outlets, comforters, pillows and amenity kits are available.

The innovative new in-flight entertainment system features a capacitive touch-screen interface with HD resolution. The 12-inch screen is easy to use, and the design is slim, lightweight and requires low power. The system offers 14 movies per flight, 24 television programs, popular music, 15 games, a duty-free catalogue, a Tahiti information guide and in-flight menus.
