Air Tahiti Nui and Air Rarotonga announced a new codeshare partnership set to greatly enhance air travel connectivity between the United States and Cook Islands via French Polynesia. The new partnership offers passengers increased flexibility, convenient connections between the two island nations and expanded route options.
Under the new agreement, Air Tahiti Nui will place its TN code on select Air Rarotonga flights; Air Rarotonga will put its GZ code on Air Tahiti Nui flights. This will allow passengers to book a single ticket and enjoy smoother transfers between Papeete, Rarotonga and beyond.
Convenient connections will also be possible through major hubs like Faa’a International Airport in Papeete (PPT) and Rarotonga International Airport (RAR). Passengers will enjoy coordinated flight schedules, reduced waiting times for connecting flights, benefits from loyalty program cooperation and more.
“We are excited to partner with Air Rarotonga to further enrich travel experiences across the Pacific,” said Mathieu Bechonnet, managing director, Air Tahiti Nui. “By working together, we are ensuring that visitors and residents alike can explore the natural beauty and vibrant cultures of both Tahiti and the Cook Islands with greater ease and flexibility.”

Here, valleys, the world’s tallest palms, vibrant communities, colorful houses, garden-like balconies and more prove reality is more picturesque than anything on film. And it’s especially more tempting following Medellín’s remarkable transformation, shedding its troubled past and reawakening as a city of innovation, art, cultural richness, modern infrastructure, thriving tourism and resiliency.
