Air France prepares to welcome guests for the summer with its plans to serve up to 196 destinations on five continents during the peak summer season. Its summer flight schedule is expected to represent, on average, 90 percent of the capacity deployed at the same period in 2019, before the pandemic struck.

Air France continues to increase capacity to and from the United States, the airline’s leading long-haul destination. The airline will also see greater capacity than before the pandemic to destinations in Africa, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.

Following the recent reopening of the airline’s service from Paris-Orly Airport to New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport March 27, Air France and Delta will soon launch a “shuttle” service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York JFK, with eight daily flights.

Air France also strengthens its services to Canada, with a 25 percent increase in capacity this summer compared to pre-pandemic levels. The airline will become the leading European airline capacity-wise between Europe and Canada, with a soon-to-launch non-stop route between CDG and Quebec City Airport May 17. Air France also expects to return to pre-pandemic levels of activity in both Africa and Asia with the addition of frequencies.
