Tomorrow I embark on a weeklong Seabourn cruise with my mom. For seven days we’ll be sailing around the Caribbean, enjoying all the onboard delights as well as the sandy pursuits on land. I’m excited for the chance to spend some quality time with my mom and to be able to share this experience with her.
We’ll be sailing on Seabourn Odyssey, and we’ve spent the last few weeks texting about things we’d like to do, packing suggestions and more. Both fans of afternoon tea, we were delighted to see we can enjoy tea daily while on board, and we both agreed not to overload ourselves with excursions before the trip. We booked three to start and may opt to do more after we’ve had some time to explore the ship further and chat with fellow cruisers. And, of course, we’re thrilled to be able to experience Seabourn’s signature Caviar in the Surf beach barbecue in Saint Kitts.
I’ll definitely share more from my cruise in the coming weeks, but right now I need your help! I’ve never been to any of the islands we’re visiting, and my mom has only been to Barbados on her honeymoon almost 41 years ago, so please send any recommendations you might have for us for the following islands: St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Guadeloupe, St.-Lucia, St. Vincent & The Grenadines and Barbados.
