Restaurant Week in Montreal takes place Oct. 29–Nov. 8 with a wine tasting series and plenty of food-themed events. Along with great deals at participating restaurants, VDM Global will present four different tasty tours. An Evening Stroll in Old Montreal (Oct. 29, 31/Nov. 6 and 7) begins at the Communion restaurant and bar, and sets off into the city’s cobblestone streets after sampling an appetizer prepared by Communion’s chef. An Evening Jaunt Through Mile-End (Oct. 31/Nov. 6) begins at Invitation V restaurant and includes an evening exploration of the Mile-End district’s multi-cultural food heritage.

Happy Hour in Little Burgundy and Saint-Henri (Oct. 29–30/Nov. 5 and 7) begins at Le Bon Vivant and winds through trendy neighborhood restaurants and boutiques in the upscale East Side. During A Toast to Upper Class Traditions in the Golden Square Mile (Oct. 30/Nov. 5), indulge in a sweet appetizer at Europea before exploring an area of the city filled with Victorian mansions — all while learning about the culinary traditions and food preparation practices from that era. All tours are subject to a minimum number of participants.
