Debra Bokur has written for Global Traveler since 2007, and served as the travel editor and managing editor at multiple national publications. Bokur is the author of several novels, including the Hawai’i-based Dark Paradise Mysteries series (Kensington Books). She’s received multiple Lowell Thomas Awards for Travel Journalism, and her work has been widely published in literary journals, newspapers and magazines. Dividing her time between the Colorado mountains and coastal Maine feeds her love of nature and adventure, and a fierce need to explore ideas and places. The Art of Hip Hop Smithsonian Collection in Miami

Now on view in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami, The Art of Hip Hop takes an immersive and interactive deep dive into photography documenting the rise of hip hop music and culture. A collaborative project with Monster Energy, this exhibition contains selections from The Smithsonian’s Eyejammie Hip-Hop Photo Collection. The new show includes works from the Eyejammie Fine Arts Gallery established by Bill Adler, who served as director of publicity at Def Jam Records from 1984 to 1990.
