Four Seasons Resort Seychelles
Located in the secluded area of Petite Anse Bay on the coast of Mahé, Seychelles’ largest island, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles offers travelers a unique way to experience the island. Guests are invited to join WiseOceans’ marine biologists on snorkel tours of the reef to see local marine life like pufferfish, tangs, angel fish, sea turtles and even a whale shark. After exploring the ocean, head to Coral Cabana to learn more about the resort’s marine conservation efforts. Guests get an inside look at the pioneering coral lines Petite Anse Reef Restoration Project and have the chance to string and plant a line of coral in the nursery themselves. While in Mahé, stay in one of the treehouse villas and enjoy private pools and panoramic views of the beautiful waters below.
Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island
Just a 35-minute flight from Mahé, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island sits on its own private island, and has more than 900 acres of untouched nature to explore. Guests can expect encounters with giant Aldabra tortoises as they roam the grounds or catch sights of rays and sea turtles swimming along the shores. Wildlife experiences include humpback whale watching adventures with Blue Safari; and visiting the Tortoise Sanctuary with George, Philly and Big Pete, the island’s famed giant Aldabra tortoises. The resort also has a tortoise adoption program where travelers can play a role in supporting efforts to protect this endangered species.
Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita

Guests can join snorkeling trips along the resort’s mangroves where they can help collect vital data about the seahorses. Guests who don’t want to get in the water can join Rick’s daily nature walks to learn about Mauritius’ endemic trees, plants and colorful wildlife.

May 14, 2025Hotel Van Zandt Review
One step onto Austin’s Rainey Street and you’ll feel like you’ve joined the cool kids at the best playground in the city. Just behind the cottage bars, pint-sized skyscrapers soar. One of them, Hotel Van Zandt, the Rainey district's pièce de resistance, beckons with a song-like spirit —apropos because the independently owned property, rife with music motifs, was named after beloved singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt. Sixteen stories high, the hotel embodies Austin’s lust for music, manifesting with a vinyl corner; trumpet chandeliers; myriad musical references; replica vintage posters in frames; and its own live music venue, which doubles as its acclaimed restaurant, Geraldine’s. Don’t miss the mesmerizing installation of colorful origami-like birds composed from vinyl records that flitter from an old phonograph.
