Celebrating a friend’s birthday always brings a little extra joy, and last weekend we kicked things off with dinner at La Scala’s. The food was absolutely delicious — rich and flavorful. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a meal and connect with a few new faces. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and the time flew by. We shared stories and, of course, raised a glass to the birthday girl.

After dinner, the fun continued at Midnight & The Wicked, where we had the chance to sing “Happy Birthday” to our girl in front of a crowd. The live piano player and singer even jumped in to join the chorus, making the moment feel extra-special. After crafted cocktails, we transitioned to Oscar’s Tavern next door. The vibe was laid-back as we settled into a cozy booth. The group of us gradually shrunk from five to three, with a few friends heading off to continue their own nights. It was the perfect opportunity to keep chatting and enjoying each other’s company without any rush.

As the night went on, the birthday girl, one of her friends and I made our way to Ladder 15 for some dancing. It felt great to let loose after such a relaxed evening. By the time I headed home, I felt completely happy with the night. It’s always a reminder of how important it is to make time for our friends, especially in the whirlwind of busy schedules. Even when it’s hard to coordinate, it’s always worth it to celebrate together.
