I spent a week in Seoul for meetings on behalf of FXExpress Publications, Inc., and one of the first places I got to enjoy was Inspire Entertainment Resort. One of Incheon’s latest additions, everything is so shiny and new with just six months under its belt.

A majestic lobby welcoming guests.

Each tower of the hotel has its own unique lobby theme welcoming guests; I had giant flower tortoises on my win.
As the name of the property suggests, there’s just about any type of entertainment you could imagine under one roof. For those who frequent Vegas, you may not be impressed; but as any seasoned traveler knows, South Korea takes it to the next level with technology and hospitality. Splash Bay (waterpark), a casino, shows, dining, shopping — you get the picture; it’s an entertainment resort.

Welcome to Splash Bay.
You’re going to find some of the best dining options in South Korea. There are eight restaurants, including the only Michael Jordan Steak House outside of the United States.

The only Michael Jordan Steak House outside of the US – VIP seats should MJ himself ever make his way out here.

Even if you’re not sitting at the VIP seats, you will still feel like a VIP no matter where you sit.
Should you feel like taking a stroll outside for dining, you don’t need to leave. Head to OASIS and find yourself in a quaint Hong Kong city setting. The water installation throughout the dining hall makes for a refreshing backdrop to your dining experience.

OASIS Gourmet Village where you’ll find everything from Chinese noodles to authentic Korean delectables.
The largest arena in all of Korea can accommodate a max of 15,000 visitors. They’re looking forward to hosting concerts but are currently hosting a stunning acrobatics company doing an Alice in Wonderland-themed show that looked beautiful!
One of the largest attractions of INSPIRE is its impressive live media shows at what they call Aurora, a 500-foot, floor-to-ceiling LED display. With partnerships with video artists, they plan to keep these themed throughout the year.
We also got to tour the MICE facilities. It’s absolutely stunning what the team can do. The largest ballroom can accommodate up to 3,000. I didn’t get the detailed rundown, but given the dining facilities, I’m sure what they can offer for corporate events is exceptional. We have a GT Tested review coming up in a few months, so look out for that to get insight on what awaits you.

A special thank you to Ms. Aida for showing us around!

Apr 18, 2025Wellness Comes Naturally in Greenville, South Carolina
Strolling through downtown Greenville, South Carolina, it’s easy to see why the city ranks high among the best places to live in the United States: Shops, restaurants and coffee bars line the streets; there are also performance venues, hotels and outdoor plazas. But what really sets this upstate city of just more than 78,000 residents apart are the easily accessible parks and walking trails encouraging both residents and visitors to explore the city by foot or cycle (both handcycles and adaptive bikes are available to rent). Even better, as Greenville continues to grow, city planners and major employers work together to expand these opportunities. When Greenville’s Swamp Rabbit Trail, for instance, opened in 2009, the paved, multiuse pathway ran about 9 miles from the heart of Greenville to the town of Traveler’s Rest.

Apr 16, 2025Grand Hotel Des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz Review
Switzerland’s most storied ski town (the one, in fact, credited with pioneering the very concept of Alpine tourism), St. Moritz legendarily attracts the rich, the famous, celebutantes and the wannabes. Yet, there’s something compellingly earthy about the place, a town on a lake rich with natural environs, where winter sports and summer activities draw athletes and mountain lovers aplenty. As at the mountain restaurants (where some arrive by chairlift rather than muscle movement, and all types of diners and imbibers convene), Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz straddles the old and new, the lavish and the understated. The hotel, one of St. Moritz’s oldest, opened as a spa haven in 1864, set atop a healing mineral spring.
