The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and MICHELIN Guide organized the first MICHELIN Star Table Experience Abu Dhabi, a dinner series crafted by local chefs and international Michelin-starred restaurant chefs.
Held this month and next, the MICHELIN Star Table Experience Abu Dhabi follows the launch of the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi in November, and includes a four-hands dinner, which means a restaurant’s executive chef collaborates with a visiting chef for a one-time special menu.

On Dec. 8 and 9, the Michelin-starred VaKaVa Pan Latin Grill and Lounge collaborated with Mono to take diners to Latin America over a six-course meal. The Asian dinner, held Dec. 15 and 16, saw Dai Pai Dong join Chaat to deliver Cantonese and Indian favorites.
There’s still time to join the European Series, to be held Jan. 6 and 7, 8 p.m., for AED 695 per person. Abu Dhabi’s one-Michelin-starred Talea by Antonia Guida and three-Michelin-starred 8 ½ Otto E Mezzo Bombana will collaborate to celebrate truffle season, home-made pasta and Italian specialties. Chef Luigi Stinga, the MICHELIN Young Chef Award winner, helms Talea at Emirates Palace.

Tucked into a Lake Maggiore enclave overlooking the Gulf of Colmegna, Relais Villa Porta is an idyllic place to take in a side of the Italian Lakes region that’s different from buzzy Lake Como during high season.
