The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay celebrates Global Wellness Day June 11 with a variety of special programming. Located on the coast in northern California, the property is the ideal spot for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
The theme for Global Wellness Day 2022 is #ThinkMagenta. The idea promotes thinking positively amid all the negativity in the world. In honor of Global Wellness Day, the property’s spa launches new treatments and encourages guests to take part in yoga and meditation classes. The new spa treatments will be available beyond June 11.

The Art of Wellness Massage is an 80-minute treatment focused on mind, body and soul wellness. The massage includes use of a rose quartz crystal in honor of #ThinkMagenta to promote self-love, guided breathing and visualization to release physical tension and relax the mind. The Bamboo Muscle Reviving Massage is an 80-minute massage designed for those who exercise regularly. The full-body treatment improves flexibility and joint mobility. The therapist uses bamboo during the fast-paced massage to release tension.
Special for Global Wellness Day, take part in special yoga and meditation classes. The Dynamic Yoga class is offered exclusively to resort guests. Led by a yoga master, the session uses a combination of techniques. The class is available June 11 and June 21 (International Yoga Day). Mindful Meditation focuses on impactful breathing and guided meditation. The session incorporates a device to measure duration of calm and focus. Sessions are available June 11 and June 21.

Tucked into a Lake Maggiore enclave overlooking the Gulf of Colmegna, Relais Villa Porta is an idyllic place to take in a side of the Italian Lakes region that’s different from buzzy Lake Como during high season.
