New Orleans’ famous French Quarter section welcomes its first new hotel in more than 50 years. ONE11 Hotel debuts in an already bustling tourism section, boasting charm paired with a modern, sleek twist.
Guests can expect the new kid on the block to add to the location’s noteworthy aesthetic, while offering innovative, chic stylings and casual eats at the on-site Batture Bistro + Bar. Guests can enjoy craft cocktails and small bites in an elevated yet casual atmosphere.
Located in the French Quarter, also known as Vieux Carré, this 85-block section dates back to the city’s founding in the early 1700s. ONE11 is the first new hotel approved in the historic French district since the 1960s, and took shape in the epicenter of New Orleans’ sugar processing industry — ONE11 was previously home to The Louisiana Sugar Refining Company.
ONE11 offers a boutique stay in the heart of a booming neighborhood, with 83 guestrooms and suites (also called “sweets” as a nod to the building’s previous life) across eight stories. Alluring business and leisure travelers to the comforts of the hotel’s luxury spaces, guests with elevated tastes should check in to the two-bedroom, two-bathroom Riverbend Sweet. Situated on the eighth floor, Riverbend offers two private terraces, including a wet bar and private seating.
Guests enjoy access to the hotel’s swimming pool, outdoor fireplace, cozy courtyard and incredible rooftop featuring views of the city and Mississippi River.
“We are incredibly inspired by the history of our building, and the spirit and creative culture of New Orleans. From top to bottom our goal is to deliver a guest experience that is authentic to the city, and that will also delight and surprise both local residents and visitors. Having a remarkable F&B team, Batture Bistro + Bar is the perfect complement to ONE11. We are delighted to finally share this one-of-kind property with all who are curious to discover it,” said Nikki Ritzenthaler, general manager, ONE11.
