Allegiant announced last month it’s adding 44 new non-stop routes and three new cities as part of the airline’s largest expansion to date. The airline will fly for the first time to Chicago (MDW), Boston (BOS) and Houston (HOU) this year.
The airline will also add new seasonal routes to Nashville International Airport from Bozeman (BZN), Montana, on May 21; Sioux Falls (FSD), South Dakota, on May 21; Norfolk (ORF), Virginia, on May 22; Pittsburgh (PIT) on May 22; Peoria (PIA), Illinois, on June 4; Tulsa (TUL), Oklahoma, on June 4; Fargo (FAR), North Dakota on June 4; Flint (FNT), Michigan, on June 5; and Greensboro (GSO), North Carolina, on June 5.
The carrier is also adding flights from Boston Logan International Airport to several destinations in May, including Grand Rapids (GRR), Michigan; Asheville (AVL), North Carolina; Knoxville (TYS), Tennessee; and Destin-Fort Walton Beach (VPS), Florida.
“There is a lot of leisure demand for cities that are regional destinations, and this route expansion will address some of that need,” Allegiant vice president Drew Wells said in a statement. “Also, this growth is about Allegiant being true to our mission as a company. We’re increasing the number of low-cost, affordable travel options for people who may otherwise be priced out of air travel.”
Other seasonal routes will be centered around major travel hubs, like Chicago Midway International Airport, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, William P. Hobby Airport, Myrtle Beach International Airport and more. Other additions include a new seasonal route from Louisville International Airport to Charleston International Airport on May 22 and Orlando Sanford International Airport to Albuquerque International Airport on June 4.

Apr 2, 2025What’s New in Luxury Travel in Rome
Rome has always been a destination for art, history and culture, but, until recently, true luxury hospitality in the Eternal City was surprisingly limited. Five-star hotels existed, but the selection was small, often traditional and rarely pushed the boundaries of modern luxury. That’s changing fast. In 2025, a wave of new openings, high-profile renovations and bold hospitality concepts redefines what it means to stay in Rome. According to Mayor Roberto Gualtieri, Rome’s hotel occupancy far exceeds the European average, and Rome responded by investing more than 450 million euros in the city’s hotels in 2024 to meet the growing demand for exceptional experiences. Last month, I attended the inaugural edition of RISE Rome, a premier event dedicated to the city’s luxury hospitality sector, to catch up on the latest updates and newest trends shaping the city. Here are highlights from some of the city’s top stays.
