Air Australia ceases operations, leaves thousands stranded

All Air Australia flights have been cancelled after the airline announced it was ceasing operations and grounding its entire fleet. As many as 4000 passengers have been left stranded as a result of the airline’s closure.

For Air Australia routes covered by the Qantas Network, Qantas will offer the same routing for the re-booking. On Air Australia routes that are not covered by the Qantas Network, Qantas will offer alternative routes as summarized in the following table.

Jetstar has scheduled additional flights to assist stranded Air Australia passengers in Thailand.
