Hilton Worldwide unveiled plans to debut its first property in the Baltic States with the signing of Hilton Tallinn in the heart of Estonia’s historic capital. Scheduled to begin welcoming guests in 2016, the hotel will be located within walking distance of Tallinn’s business district and tourist attractions such as the Estonian National Opera House, Kumu Art Museum of Estonia and the Presidential Palace. The property will feature 202 guestrooms and suites, a business center, a fitness center, a spa, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor terrace, an all-day restaurant and a lobby bar. “With Hilton Worldwide’s heritage in Europe stretching almost 60 years, we are delighted to announce our expansion into the Baltic region,” said Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development for Europe & Africa, Hilton Worldwide. “Hilton Tallinn is a high quality project and a superb example of our core Hilton brand expanding in capital cities and popular destinations across the region.” Hilton Worldwide currently operates more than 250 hotels in Europe with more than 130 properties under development.
