Destinations / Europe

Paris is France’s capital and most populous city. The City of Lights draws travelers from all walks of life for its art, fashion, dining and cultural attractions. Paris plays host to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

GETTING THERE & AROUND
Two main airports serve Paris: Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris-Orly Airport. Of the two, Charles de Gaulle offers more flight options, though Orly lies closer to city center. If flying into Charles de Gaulle, travelers may take a taxi, rideshare, rental car, train or bus into city center. For travelers flying into Orly, taxi, rideshare and rental cars are available, or take the Orlybus, the airport’s only mode of public transportation. Once in the city center, the metro proves the easiest way to get around.
