One of the most pivotal moments in World War II occurred at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Today, visitors can head to Pearl Harbor National Memorial and explore the museum and grounds for free. With a multitude of beaches, beginner and intermediate surfers can take to any number of them to catch great waves.
